Axton Belgrade here, tough NHL defenseman for the Portsmouth Whalers and recently stung by Cupid's arrow.

That arrow started my trouble, but I can't say I regret it. Not one effing bit. 

Maybe I should have known Heidi was too good to be true. She's a stunner and a brilliant civil attorney and I was smitten the minute I met her.

But I swear I didn't know she was with the nastiest player in the NHL, the Brawlers goon who almost ended my best friend's career.

So when she asks me to help her get rid of the turd's attentions at a charity
event, I happily oblige.

I'm relieved she doesn't want to stay with the pucking turd. Until said turd
